While lung cancer does not often show symptoms in its early stages, when it reaches the more advanced stages, lung cancer symptoms may include:
Chronic cough
Coughing up blood

More doctors today are using CT scans to help detect lung cancers in patients who smoke. If you smoke, the best way to prevent lung cancer is to quit.
